( 1 )This Form 3 is being filed jointly pursuant to Rule 16a-1(a)(3) and Rule 16a-3(j) under the Securities Act of 1934, as amended (the "Exchange Act") to report the beneficialownership in respect of common stock, par value $0.0001 per share ("Common Stock"), of Ivanhoe Electric Inc. (the "Issuer") that Century Vision Holdings Limited ("CenturyVision") and Prestige Century Investments Limited ("Prestige Century" and together with Century Vision, the "Reporting Persons"), hold in the Issuer, comprised of13,083,968 shares of Common Stock held by Century Vision and 589,210 shares of Common Stock held by Prestige Century. ( 2 )Each of Century Vision and Prestige Century are controlled by the same three-person board of directors and hence are under common control.
